Traditionally, a wedding guest list is divided into three parts: the couple's guests, the bride's parents' guests, and the groom's parents' guests. However, nowadays, couples are paying for their weddings, so it's up to you and your partner to decide whom to invite. A good rule of thumb is to invite people whom you've seen in the past year or with whom you're in regular touch.
